CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

This Cancellation & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs subscription cancellations, renewals, billing, refunds, downgrades, and data handling for Bonnacci (the “App”).

By purchasing or subscribing to any paid plan, you agree to this Policy.

1. Subscription Plans

Bonnacci offers:

  • Free Plan – 20 minutes of transcription per month
  • Monthly Subscription Plan
  • Yearly Subscription Plan

Paid subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.

2. Automatic Renewal

All paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly, as applicable).

By subscribing, you authorize the applicable app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store) to automatically charge your selected payment method unless you cancel before renewal.

Failure to cancel before renewal will result in automatic billing for the next subscription period.

3. How to Cancel

Subscriptions must be cancelled through the platform where the purchase was made:

For Android Users:

  1. Open Google Play Store
  2. Tap Payments & Subscriptions
  3. Select Subscriptions
  4. Select Bonnacci
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

For iOS Users:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap your Apple ID
  3. Select Subscriptions
  4. Select Bonnacci
  5. Tap Cancel

Bonnacci does not have the ability to directly cancel subscriptions purchased through Google Play or Apple App Store.

4. Effect of Cancellation

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • You will continue to have access to paid features until the subscription expires
  • No partial billing periods will be refunded or prorated

5. Failed Payments & Grace Period

If a subscription payment fails:

  • A grace period of up to fifteen (15) days may be provide
  • During this period, you may update your payment information through the respective app store
  • If payment is not successfully processed within the grace period:
    • Your subscription will be downgraded to the Free Plan
    • Access to premium features will be removed

6. Data Deletion

Upon Downgrade or Expiry Upon cancellation, non-renewal, or failed payment beyond the grace period:

  • Your account will revert to the Free Plan
  • Data retention will follow the Free Plan limits
  • Notes or stored data exceeding Free Plan limits may be permanently deleted

By subscribing to Bonnacci, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Data associated with paid subscriptions may be permanently deleted upon downgrade.
  • Bonnacci is not responsible for loss of data resulting from cancellation, non-renewal, or failure to update payment information.
  • You are responsible for exporting or backing up any important content before cancellation or downgrade.

Data deletion policies are also governed by our Privacy Policy.

7. Refund Policy

All payments are processed by:

  • Google Play Store (Android users)
  • Apple App Store (iOS users)

Refunds are governed by the respective platform’s refund policies.

Bonnacci does not directly process payments and cannot independently issue refunds.

Refund requests must be submitted directly through the platform where the purchase was made.

Refunds will only be granted if:

  • Required by applicable law; or
  • Approved by the respective platform provider

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Partial billing periods
  • Unused time
  • Failure to cancel before renewal
  • Account downgrades due to non-payment

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated:

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account
  • Access to services may be revoked during investigation
  • Any associated data may be subject to deletion in accordance with our policies

9. Changes to Subscription Fees

We may revise subscription pricing from time to time.

If fees change:

  • You will be notified prior to the next renewal
  • New pricing will apply only to future billing cycles
  • You may cancel before the updated pricing takes effect

10. Compliance with Local Laws

Some jurisdictions provide mandatory consumer rights, including cooling-off periods or refund rights.

Nothing in this Policy overrides rights granted under applicable consumer protection laws.
